Not the most fun but not the most difficult. The backbone of the Japanese language and probably the one with the most resources dedicated to learning it. Some learning methods recommend you start with a good foundation of vocabulary + kanji before jumping into grammar. And some the opposite. Look and see which one works best for you!

CLAIR Language Course
The CLAIR Language course is free. Some JETs have found these useful while other JETs have found the course less useful. If you are interested , please make sure you sign up for the course before the deadline!
Tae Kim's Guide to Learning Japanese Grammar
One of the most popular websites for Japanese foundations. It has a very extensive and accessible grammar guide
Imabi
Another popular website for Japanese grammar. Goes into more advance topics than Tae Kim but also has the basics.
Wasabi
Very fun and cute website that is also super helpful and resourceful. Provides grammar, reading, listening and speaking resources. As well as a lot of exercises you can do with a personal tutor.
Maggie Sensei
A very extensive grammar/Japanese learning blog written by a Native Japanese speaker. Each blog post features a lot of example sentences and pictures of adorable pets. What's not to love?
Nihongonomori Japan (日本語の森)☆
Youtube Series. Learn Japanese grammar and vocabulary with native speakers. Starts at a very beginner level. After N3 the lessons are completely in Japanese.
Japanese Ammo with Misa☆
Youtube Series. Learn Japanese from a native. Offers a wide selection of topics and subjects.
Bunpro (文プロ) ☆
Another subscription website with a free trial and app that tracks your learning. It's like Wanikani but for grammar.
FluentU
This site has a free trial with discount coupons for the membership. It is focused on using videos to learn several languages! Also has an app.
Genki Series
A textbook series that many universities use. It is often recommended for beginners. (Genki I N5/ Genki II N4)
Minna no Nihongo
Another textbook series that many universities use. It is often recommended for beginners.
Japanese From Zero!
A popular textbook series used by beginners. (1-2 N5/ 3-4 N4)
Tobira: Gateway to Advance Japanese☆
A textbook often recommended for intermediate learners. A bit of a challenge if used immediately after Genki series. (N3)
An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese
An easier alternative to Tobira for intermediate learners of Japanese. (N3)
